Cabernet Sauvignon from a crop of grapes over 20 years of age in average, grew in our vineyard in San Esteban del Toral on iron clay and granite sand soils, at a height of about 730 meters.
24 hours cold prefermentative maceration. Alcoholic fermentation under controled temperature never raised above 25°C. Afterwards, the wine performs the malolactic fermentation and ages for 12 months in 500 liters french oak barriques.
High cap, cherry red color.
Clear, elegant and intense on the nose. Blackberry notes stand out, pum, blueberry and red berries. Also black pepper tones appear, clove, eucalyptus, cocoa, vanilla and mineral traits.
Wide and thick in palate, with ripe and gentle tannin. Acidity adds equilibrium to the wine volume, bringing balance and freshness. It shows great trails and persistency. Red berry, black berry, spices and a strong mineral character reappear prominently in the aftertaste.
